Synthetic haired brushes are usually recommended for liquids and creams and natural haired brushes are usually recommended for powders though I personally don't stick to that rule. I generally prefer natural haired brushes because of the reduced dry time, general softness, and I tend to work more with powders than I do creams and liquids.

If you had to pick, which would you choose? Synthetic or Natural Hair Brushes?
I think I'd pick natural hair, simply because they seem to be a lot softer. Having said that, I'm comparing Hakuhodo goat and Real Techniques, so I'm not sure if higher-end synthetic brushes would be a fairer comparison?
ReplyDeleteI use both, but I have synthetic brushes for my BB/CC/foundations that are liquids/creams.
ReplyDeleteI have both. BUt, the majority of my brushes are synthetic.
ReplyDeleteI have both! The majority are synthetic.
ReplyDeleteI use both and do not have a preference. Creams def work best with all synthetic brushes.
ReplyDeleteI have both, I don't really have a huge preference for one or the other.
ReplyDeleteI really don't have a preference!
ReplyDeleteI prefer natural hair fibers. I do have some synthetic brushes, but I swear the natural fibers give me better application.
ReplyDeleteI like both - but I tend to go towards synthetic.
ReplyDeleteI use both, whichever is clean :-)
ReplyDeleteI really have no preference as long as it works well
ReplyDeleteI prefer natural for the softness. However, I have some synthetic brushes that are holy grails. Sometimes it just depends. :)
ReplyDeleteI like them both, I always switch up my brushes!
ReplyDeleteIf I had to choose only one, I'd go synthetic!

I have many of both!
ReplyDeleteI like both, really. Synthetic do seem to clean easier when working with messy creams, but I tend to just use whatever is softer, or does the job better.
ReplyDeleteDepends. I use synthetic for all oil-based products, and natural for everything else.
ReplyDeleteI always just feel like synthetic blends out smoother!
ReplyDeleteI prefer synthetic :)
ReplyDeleteI switch it up. It really depends on the finish I am going for and/or the use.
ReplyDeleteI have a mix of the two in my collection, but I tend to prefer synthetic -- they're almost always softer than their natural hair counterparts (unless you spend significantly more on the latter), and my skin's a bit of a wimp :P
ReplyDeleteI think synthetic all the way. There is absolutely no need to use animals for applying our makeup. That's the ultimate example of humans using their power for evil. Plus, they make synthetics so brilliantly now you could never tell.
ReplyDeleteI prefer animal. It grabs the makeup way better.
ReplyDeleteI'm not team CF so I really dont have a preference, I would only say synthetic because they are more affordable.
