Question of the Week #4: Favorite Drugstore Powder Eyeshadow?

This week's Question of the Week is on your Favorite Drugstore Powder Eyeshadow. If I have to pick, I'd say the L'oreal Infallible Eyeshadows. Reasonably priced with a wide variety of colors, it's got a unique pressed texture that somehow manages to feel creamy and makes for easily application with either your fingers or a brush. I own three and they're my favorite when I want both incredible pigmentation that also sheers out wonderfully.

I'd probably pick these as my favourite as well, though I really only like the lighter colours in the line. The darker ones that I have (truth told they are both purple, which can be a more finicky colour than others) apply all patchy unless I layer them over another shadow.
ReplyDeleteI love these, too—just wish L'Oreal was cruelty-free so I could get some of the other shades, lol. I ended up just keeping Amber Rush.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great question. I think my favorite drugstore powder eye shadow is Wet n'Wild. They're not all fantastic, 100% of the time, but I do love the Fergie palettes, and the Color Icon trios!

ReplyDeleteMy pick would be a Nyx eyeshadow. Though I have to admit I like the Wet n' Wild singles I own - Brulee, Panther and Nutty.

ReplyDeleteI only have one Infallible, but I think I need to pick up more! Of my drugstore eyeshadows, I probably pick up my L'oreal quads more than anything else, but lately I've been using a lot of higher-end palettes.
ReplyDeleteI'm not surprised by your choice but I don't know if they would get my #1 spot. I'd probably go with Wet n Wild trios.
