This week's Question of the Week is all about your Sephora wishlist items. If you had $100 to spend at Sephora (or your respective beauty store if Sephora isn't present in your country), what would you get? (excluding tax of course because that's never fun!) Here are the things I would stock up on:
Anastasia Brow Wiz in Medium Brown (previously Medium Ash). This is my go-to brow product. I really like the skinny tip but I wish more came in the pencil, it seems like I run out much too quickly! $21.00
Benefit Porefessional Mini. I have a lot of enlarged pores and acne scarring on my cheeks so the Porefessional is a godsend step prior to wearing foundation. Thankfully this mini size is available and the price is actually proportional to the full size so you're not paying more for a travel-friendly size. $10.00
Butter London Nail Polish in Scouse. I've rediscovered my Butter London polishes and have really been enjoying the formula in combination with my CND Vinylux topcoat. This royal blue and indigo nail polish (although not your typical summer color) seems right up my alley. $15.00
Josie Maran Coconut Watercolor Cheek Gelee Mini in Poppy Paradise. I've heard a lot of good things about this Cheek Gelee and the formula looks so interesting, I think it's worth a try and I'm happy that it's available in a mini. $13.00
Shiseido Eyelash Curler This is the quintessential eyelash curler if you happen to have a less rounded eye and is said to be especially great for Asian eye shapes (not that other eye shapes can't give it a go). I do like the idea of the Shiseido eyelash curler plus they sell refills of the curler pads (whereas Shu Uemura doesn't!) $19.00
Too Faced La Creme in Bon Bon. There's just something about me and corals for summer and this looks to be a beautiful one. I really like the La Creme formula (I feel like it really sinks into my lips in a good way) so I'd be happy to add another one to my collection. $22.00
Grand Total: $21+$10+$15+$13+$19+$22= $100
If you had just $100 to spend, what would you purchase?

What I really should buy is the large size Tarte Maracuja Oil, and then fill in the rest with a lipstick or blush, but since this is fiction I'm going straight for the fun stuff.
ReplyDeleteDior Addict It-Lash in purple (my eyes are really picky about mascara, but I have this in blue and adore it)
Dior Addict Fluid Stick in Rieuse (because I really want to try them and can't drag myself to a counter)
MUFE HD Blush in either 510 or 520, I can't decide
and probably a couple tubes of my trusty Jack Black lip balm in Grapefruit/Ginger
That's.... $102. Guess I'll have to go dig under the sofa cushions for $2 in change. :D
Jack Black Lip Balm, Hourglass Hydrating Primer, and some makeup TBD maybe the Dior Addict purple mascara that Rach is considering
ReplyDeleteI LOVE that Josie Maran Gel! This post makes me want to go to Sephora now!
ReplyDeletethe Hourglass powder palette and some foundation. I just don't know which foundation.
ReplyDeleteHave you tried GardenofWisdom's Passion Fruit Seed Oil? It's not organic like Tarte's but it is unrefined and at a way better price! http://www.gardenofwisdom.com/catalog/item/3987807/3778862.htm
ReplyDeleteI also want to try the new Coconut Watercolor Eyeshadow from her brand, it looks really cool!
ReplyDeleteOoohhh such great choices. I love love that Josie Maran Cheek Gelee. If I had a $100 for SepHora I would totally get the Hourglass Mineral Primer it's awesoke, maybe some of the new NARS Philip Limited polishes and some more Too Faced Melted lippies. Great post!!!
ReplyDeleteOooh. that butter LONDON color is sooo pretty. I'm interested in that Josie Moran gel cheek blush thingie! LOL. If I had $100 I would probably blow it on the Bite beauty deconstructed rose lip gloss collection. :-)
ReplyDeleteI would probably use it to try new things! Nars' Exhibit A blush, Makeup Forever's Full Coverage concealer, Tarte's Discovery the Amazon set, and I'd have some change left over.
ReplyDeleteThis is so hard question! I would probably order some must have eyeshadow palettes and some nail polishes maybe.
ReplyDeleteFUN question! An Hourglass Ambient Lighting Blush, a YSL Rouge Volupte and the Urban Decay Electric palette. And with those choices I already blew my budget lol.
ReplyDeleteThat Jose Marin look fabulous. I'm sure I would buy a shadow palette or too. I'm a sucker for those!
ReplyDeleteSo much goodness, it would go too quickly! I want to try the Josie Maran lip and cheek tubes, the Too-Faced Melted lippies, maybe a Kat VonD palette..
ReplyDeleteCan't go wrong with Too Faced and nail polish. I would probably need some more mascara too.
ReplyDeleteI wouldn't know where to begin honestly!
ReplyDeleteLovely choices!!!! I don't know Sephora well enough to make that much of a choice for myself.
ReplyDeleteOMG it takes me WEEKS to figure out how to spend gift cards to Sephora lol
ReplyDeleteGreat picks! I actually like to try that Josie Maran gelee. I don't even know what to buy because Sephora overwhelms me like a poor kid inside a candy store
ReplyDeleteOh, I love this tag!! Perhaps I'll take it on :) I would stock up on Bite Beauty lippies... MUFE eyeliners... oh the possibliites!
ReplyDeleteGood question! I would probably splurge on some luxury item i've always wanted to try, like a YSL lippie and a few Marc Jacobs nail polishes.
ReplyDelete100 at Sephora? Oh my. Probably Hourglass and BITE beauty goodies!
ReplyDeleteIt's so tough since I almost have everything from my wishlist and I don't want anything from there, but ahhh maybe Kat Von D
ReplyDeleteI wouldn't know where to start! I would go crazy at Too Faced and KVD.
ReplyDeleteI'd probably pick up perfume
ReplyDeleteBon Bon is so pretty! I think I'd pick up a foundation but I have no clue which one!
ReplyDeleteI need Scouse! Also those TF la cremes. Maybe the rest of this list too! ahhhh!
ReplyDeleteI have Bon Bon--it's the perfect bright coral for summer!
ReplyDeleteThanks! No I haven't tried that so I'll definitely check it out!
ReplyDeleteI need to decide....and quickly before my birthday month is over!!
ReplyDeleteI don't think I could keep my purchases under $100. Sephora is such a rare visit for me I always go overboard.
ReplyDeleteI'd get the Murad Pure Skin Clarifying Dietary Supplements ($43). One of my friends uses it and it has helped clear up her acne really well so I thought I might try it out because we seem to have similar skin types/skin problems. I'd probably spend the rest on some lip products like the Bite High Pigment Pencils in Corvina and Cranberry ($48 total). For the last item I'd get Benefit's Goodtime Gals set ($15) because it has posietint and my sample size recently ran out. Whoops, that's $6 over, but I can scrounge that up!
