My favorite happens to be the calligraphy style tip but unfortunately most liquid liners that come that way usually are plain black or brown. For colored liners, I prefer a brush tip over a felt tip. No matter what, felt tips always just feel really scratchy against my eyelid.
How about you? Which eyeliner styles do you favor?
Whatever the Physician Formula Eye Booster and LORAC Front of the Line Pro styles are. Looking at the pictures, I think that'd be the calligraphy type? I don't like felt tip. They dry out on me too fast and feel scratchy on my skin.
ReplyDeleteFrankly, I prefer a slant brush for applying liner though I own a brush tip or two as well as a felt tip
ReplyDeleteI'll be difficult and go with none. You should see my liquid liner skills. Comical! :P
ReplyDelete(though if really pressed, I'd probably pick calligraphy)
I also prefer a calligraphy tip, more precise and you can always build layers.
ReplyDeleteI love Calligraphy tips on my liquid liners, I find them to be the easiest ones to handle. But I normally prefer gel liners with a brush or eyeshadows used as eyeliner.
ReplyDeleteI'm not a big liquid liner person, so I haven't tried the calligraphy tips. I keep meaning to do so since I suspect I would prefer them.
ReplyDeleteI prefer felt tips. I feel I don't have a steady enough hand for a brush tip and I have never tried a calligraphy tip, I don't think. What specific liners have a calligraphy tip?
ReplyDeleteI like felt tips and brush tips. I think I haven´t used any liners with calligraphy tips so far.
ReplyDeleteI really like brush tips because I feel like I have more control!
ReplyDeleteBrush tip all the way. I find the others to be more difficult to get super-precise with.
ReplyDeleteYep that's the Calligraphy type tip. I'm glad I'm not the only one who isn't a fan of felt tips!
ReplyDeleteHaha I'm sure they're not as bad as you're making it out to be! I think the calligraphy tip is pretty friendly since it's not as floppy as brush tips can be
ReplyDeleteYeah I'm usually a fan of gel liners but sometimes the colorful gels can smudge on me but liquid liners usually don't
ReplyDeletePhysicians Formula Eye Booster, Lorac Front of the Line, and DHC's Liquid Eyeliner all have calligraphy style tips. The tips look like the bristles have been glued together so I think it gives a lot of control to the user.
ReplyDeleteCalligraphy tip, followed by brush tip
ReplyDeleteI'm a brush tip gal.
ReplyDeletedefinitely brush tip!
ReplyDeleteBrush tip, for sure!
ReplyDeleteI'm calligraphy followed by brush!
ReplyDeleteI like the brush tip best, but the felt tip is the easiest and I will sometimes grab it instead since it takes less precision and I can grab and go with it. I've never tried calligraphy.
ReplyDeleteFelt tip is my fave. I feel like I can get a more precise line.
ReplyDeleteBrush tip because felt tip irritates my eyelids a lot!
ReplyDeletefelt tip like Kat Von D's.
ReplyDeleteI enjoy felt tips because they are much easier to use
ReplyDeleteI used to be a die-hard fan of the Lancome felt-tips, but they dried up and crumbled! Right now, I'm loving the Physician's Formula liquid, and it comes with a brush - but you're right, it's only black and brown.
ReplyDeleteI'm not a fan of liquid liner at all, but when I do use it I guess I would like the calligraphy style.
ReplyDeleteCalligraphy tip, definitely. The felt tips I've had ended up fraying a bit, and I never seem to get as precise a line with brush tips.
ReplyDeleteWhat a cool question! I'm really anal about the application methods of my liquid liner. I would have to say brush tip or felt tip are my favorite!
ReplyDeleteI prefer felt tip for control
ReplyDeleteI like the calligraphy tips, as well.
ReplyDeleteCalligraphy tip for sure!
ReplyDeleteCalligraphy is my favorite ;)
ReplyDeleteI... think felt tip? But only because I have yet to try a calligraphy tipped liner!
ReplyDeleteI know, I know, I really need to get on that >.<
Calligraphy is my fav--you can do a really fine line or turn it sideways for a thicker line.
ReplyDeleteI honestly don't mind any of them....as long as the handle is a decent length. I also look more at if it is waterproof or drags....allergy eyes :(
ReplyDeleteI honestly don't know the answer to that question.
ReplyDeleteI don't care as long as the flow of product is good and that the brush doesn't get ruined at the tip quickly
ReplyDeletecan somebody please give me a name of some good eyeliner with a calligraphy tip? i've been using one that's dirt cheap and would somehow manage to always hit my lashes and once it'd dry out applying mascara over them would look abhorrent....if any of you have any advice on avoiding that i'd love to hear it as well! thank you <3
ReplyDeleteIt depends on my mood really, and the look I'm going for. I mostly use a felt or brush tip
