*I'm still on a bit of a hiatus but I had forgotten about this entry along with a few I did before hiatus time which will get posted too!*
I've said this before but I really dislike the packaging. The damned things are huge and I think it's just a waste of plastic.
You get .35 oz or 10g of product for $3.00. I don't think I've ever paid full price for anything e.l.f. because of how consistently they hold sales. Just wait for one of their man constant sales.
This is Pewter.
This is Bronzed.
In reality, it isn't that brown looking. Some of the shimmers or pigments migrated to the top but it comes off after a swipe or two.
Here are the swatches I did. No base, just swiped on.
In daylight
In direct sunlight
Pewter is a really nice dark silvery gray, maybe with a hint of brown. Bronzed is a bronze color. I found that applying it with a brush gave it the best pigmentation; applying it with my fingers made it sheer out a little too much.
This does need to be worn over an eyeshadow primer if you've got oily eyelids.
Have you indulged in any e.l.f. cream eyeshadows?
These actually look really pretty! I've had a really bad experience with other cream shadows by elf... I got their little cream eye shadow palette and those shadows were awful. They were like slightly colored grease... not pretty. But, after seeing these swatches, I might have to give elf cream shadows another chance ;)
