Craving theBalm Muppet Cast Your Shadow Palette? Look to TJMaxx!

I'm seriously so excited to post about The Balm and the Beautiful and Meet Matt(e), both of which I got from TJMaxx. I wouldn't normally think of TJMaxx as a place to have the hookup for theBalm but they just had a shipment in and right in the cosmetics and perfume section was The Balm and the Beautiful palette. I won't take the credit for finding these palettes at TJMaxx, it goes to a user on MakeupAlley. I would list the user's name but I'm unsure if she wants me to so I won't unless she gives the okay.

It seems like TJMaxx and Marshall's also got a shipment of theBalm skincare but I've only seen a large quantity of the makeup at TJMaxx. Some of the Overshadow mineral eyeshadows were on sale for around $7.99 I believe and some of skincare like the Carrot Oil Free Makeup Remover was on sale for $9.99.

The best part were these two palettes. This is amazing for two reasons. One, The Balm and The Beautiful Palette is the Cast Your Shadow Muppets palette but in new packaging. Two, it isn't supposed to be out until the Holidays so I don't know how TJMaxx got their hands on a stash and Three, these were on sale for over 50% off.

Pictures ahead! Even though there are slight color differences due to lighting it is exactly the same as the one on Temptalia's review. The Balm and the Beautiful palette retails for $44.50 but I got it for $19.99 and the Meet Matt(e) palette retails for $34.50 but I got it for $16.99. I paid about $39 after tax when it would total $85.12.

I'm not sure if this is necessary but I have to say that I have no reason to believe that these are fakes. At the very least the Meet Matt(e) looks as pictured based off of the official images and the colors match up for the Muppet palette. I don't know why or how TJMaxx got ahold of this but I'm pretty darn glad they did.

Needless to say, this was the BEST TJMaxx haul ever. Are you guys going to be checking out your local Marshall's or TJMaxx?

    I wish we had that here! In Canada, we have Winners which sometimes has some really great finds for 50% or less the retail price. Problem is, a lot of things are opened and mangled by customers so sometimes that great find has fingerprints in it. Ugh!

    I went to two Marshall's today and found one Meet Matt(e) palette at the more ghetto Marshall's.  The nicer one had no palettes.  I didn't get Meet Matt(e) though because I was hoping for The Balm and the Beautiful. :)
