I was feeling semi creative before a test so I decided to this.
2 coats of China Glaze For Audrey, 2 coats of Stripe Rite in silver glitter and topped with 1 coat of Seche Vite.
The little bow is from Konad plate M71. My boyfriend likes to say that I apply my Konad with a microscope and a very tiny brush, haha.

Mini Lush Haul
Sunday, April 11, 2010
I went to my Lush on Thursday to exchange my Yummy Yummy Yummy (yes you can return used products although I'm unsure with naked products like soap and such) They didn't give me a hard time for returning it although I noted that the form that I had to fill out was interesting. It asked the store to keep a sample of what was returned. I filled out the form but it had said for the sales associate to describe in detail why it was being returned.
Cupcake mask not included in the picture because it's in the fridge.
Anyways, I went to Lush mostly to buy a fresh face mask for me and my boyfriend's mom in addition to returning my Yx3 but I ended up exchanging it for a Rub Rub Rub 3.3 oz size and I bought a Cupcake and Ayesha mask. I was cool and brought a cooler with ice along to keep the masks cold. Dorky I know, but I'm spending 6 bucks of my money on a mask that is going to last only 3 weeks, it better stay safe.
They were nice and gave me a Charity Pot Lotion, which I thought was funny because when I went the last time and spent 3 times as much, I didn't get a sample. It's still very nice though, and I'll try it out soon.

Haken Cuticle Oil vs CND Solar Oil
Sunday, April 4, 2010
I've been obsessed with taking care of my nails over the last several months and one of the first things I picked up was Haken Cuticle Oil in Mango from Sally's Beauty Supply. I didn't originally get Solar oil because I had heard Haken's was just as good.
It's not, not by a long shot.
CND's Solar oil kicks Haken's ass in terms of awesomeness. When I used Haken, I started noticing that my cuticles felt really dry, even though they were saturated with oil. They felt dehydrated despite the amount of oil I put on.

With Solar oil, I put two drops on my middle and index fingers and spread that out to all my nails and it is more than enough.
Oddly enough, Solar oil just felt more oily, Haken didn't seem all that saturated of an oil.
Haken does one up Solar oil in the many scents that it has, melon, mango, etc. I've heard Solar oil's scent described as passionfruit juice, but having never smelled a passionfruit, I can't attest to this.
Price-wise: Haken does win out, 4.99 for a 1/2 oz bottle at Sally's, a bit cheaper if you have the card I believe. Solar oil is maybe 6.99? I will say this though, if you have any sort of beauty supply store for nail techs in a nearby neighborhood (Little Saigon has plenty of them for me) then you'll definitely find them cheaper there!
So spring for the good stuff and get Solar oil!

Rant:Lush Yummy Yummy Yummy shower cream
Thursday, April 1, 2010
So I've had a chance to try out the Yummy x 3 shower cream/wash and I am so disappointed.
8.95 for 3.3 ounces is meh. Considering what I have to say about it, it's not worth it in the leastest.
My biggest issue with it is the texture and the smell, which what a shower cream/wash should be excelling in and it absolutely sucks. What it basically is is opaque water. It is not thick at all, it is basically straight up water. I've heard that it is better if you shake it up but that didn't help, it still was watery.
The smell. I honestly don't get it, for something so natural, it's got the most artificial smell ever. It doesn't smell yummy or strawberryish or anything of that nature. What's worse is the fact that it was so watery made me need to use more just to get decent lather and that filled up my shower with a suffocating aroma.
I'm definitely returning this. As far as I know, you can return used products so I will and will stock up on a fresh face mask instead.
Cost: 3/5
Texture: -1/5
Scent:2/5
I would not recommend it at all.
