Hey everyone!
Today I have a review on the ULTA Juice Infused Lip Oil in Jojoba + Peach. These lip oils are an oil-infused gloss, so there's a lot of shine without it feeling greasy on your lips. This type of product also has the benefit of usually lasting much longer on your lips than the traditional lip oil (because it's got some weight).
The Juice Infused Lip Oil comes in six flavors/scents; each one has different added ingredients which are supposed to benefit your lips in different ways. The flavors/scents are: Cranberry + Pomegranate, Black Raspberry, Jojoba + Peach, Sweet Rose, Coconut, and Green Tea + Avocado. All of the flavors/scents look slightly tinted but they all apply clear on the lips.
These are available at ULTA for $9.00 for 0.15 oz. ULTA often has deals on their ULTA brand products so you might be able to get a few for an even better deal. The Lip Oil comes in a clear tube with a doefoot applicator, which is flat on both sides.
(By the way, I've been using this for a while now which is why my bottle doesn't look that full).
Though technically they're supposed to offer different effects/benefits to your lips, I'm not entirely sure that they're all drastically different that you need to get them for the individual purpose. Instead, I say get it in the scent that you like because I really think this is so good.
Replace sheer with "no coverage" and it's pretty much spot on. Since it's an oil infused gloss, it imparts a lot of shine without being sticky or tacky. It's smooth and has some weight on your lips so it feels quite cushy. It does an amazing job at moisturizing and softening my lips, especially when it's been feeling dry. Being a gloss, it lasts much longer than a traditional lip oil would; I've been able to get four hours of wear. This is a product for someone who wants to condition/moisturize your lips while adding shine.
Jojoba + Peach smells slightly peachy, though it's not so cloying that it gives me a headache. I didn't bother swatching this because it looks like a clear gloss but trust that it's quite shiny. I personally just wear this by itself so I can't attest to how it might wear over other lip products, though you could certainly layer this with something else.
I haven't heard great things about ULTA's own brand but this is one of the things I highly suggest trying out if you're into lip oils but want something that feels more substantial and will actually wear for a few hours. I wasn't a fan of some of the other scents so I plan on just repurchasing Jojoba + Peach.
Are you a fan of lip oils? Are there any recent ones you've liked?

I'm very curious to try one of these. I bought Milani's version when it first came out, and some ingredient in it actually irritates my dry lips. Next I bought the $25 version from Clarins, and that one is much better for my lips but I just finished it up and it's too expensive to repurchase. I wasn't aware of these from Ulta so I'll try one next!
ReplyDeleteI would like to try this, it sounds nice and I'm a sucker for anything peach.
ReplyDeleteI've never looked into lip oils but this sounds like an inexpensive way to try them out. Ulta has some great products and they are getting better along with the store.
ReplyDeleteThey have so many hidden gems in their house brand!
ReplyDeleteThe only lip oil I've tried is the Too Faced Sweet Peach ones, I think I would like these better.
ReplyDeleteooooh!! I had no idea Ulta had these in their collection!!! I'm dying to try them. My local Ulta hardly ever restocks their own brand, but there's another one nearby that I'll have to check out.
ReplyDeleteThis sounds so good! I want to try it now.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great grouping of highly moisturizing ingredients. I think that I would like to use this over some of my more matte lipsticks to give them some shine and moisture.
